The EMX250 European Championship kicks off and Mattia Guadagnini and Maximilian Spies make their debut.

The second round of the 2020 Motocross World Championship is Holland and the Valkenswaard track to stage this race. Difficult weather conditions that made the sandy bottom even more insidious. The EMX250 European Championship kicks off and Mattia Guadagnini and Maximilian Spies make their debut.

In the timed practice excellent eighth time for Mattia Guadagnini in his group, unfortunately Spies was unable to qualify. At the start of the first moto, Mattia cannot find a good start and thanks to a fall, he finishes the race in 12th position.

In race 2 Guadagnini showed his speed and tenacity, after a good start Mattia kept a very high pace which saw him go up the classification until the fourth final position. Mattia Guadagnini ends his weekend in ninth absolute position.

In MX2 Alberto Forato did not have much luck, in qualifying he never managed to find the right lap to be able to score a good time. In Saturday's qualifying heats Alberto Forato was the victim of a bad fall without major consequences but with a big blow to the shoulder. Forato in Sunday's warm-up he tried to get on the track but the severe pain did not allow him to take part in the race.

Marco Maddii: ”A difficult weekend for our Team, Mattia in tricky track conditions managed to finish with two good results, especially the 4th place in the second moto. Alberto unfortunately after the bad fall on Saturday where he hit his shoulder hard, we decided to keep him at rest to be ready for the race in Argentina. Let's go home and keep working to try to improve. "
