Our brain in our machines
Specialists in tooling machines for pistons and piston rings processing.
A specific division inside Caber S.r.l. is dedicated to the engineering and building of special tooling machines and fixtures designed for the production of pistons and rings.
Inside. Most of the machines that today run in CABER were build in our own department.
Outside. Born to provide technical assistance and maintenaince to the machines of our factories, this department soon developed know-how in the design and engineering of complete machines. This department has provided in the past KNOW-HOW on pistons foundry technologies, rings and pistons machining for the start up of new factories as well as building new machines for outside customers.
Today most of the machines for the pistons processing are commercial high quality CNC lathes and working centers that perfectly meet pistons machining phases. Still the casting process actually needs special casting machines and tools and a specific know-how.
On the other hand, the rings complex working can be performed by special machines only and through a huge number of fixtures that are not available on the market and are subject to an on-purpose design and engineering. Caber can therefore provide assistance for these kind of equipments.

Tooling Room
Tools and fixtures for our machines are designed directly by our technical staff. A dedicated room is also available for the production or improvements of the machines' tools as well as the molding tools of our casting machines.
