Latvia GP World Championship

Second day of this first Latvian GP, Alberto Forato took to the track in MX2

Alberto in qualifying, which took place in a single session, set a good twelfth time, Forato did not get on track in the best of his physical conditions, perhaps due to the intense training of the previous weeks.

At the start of the first heat he managed to get a good start recovering some positions, during the second lap a small error caused him to lose contact with his rivals, but thanks to a good race pace he finished in tenth place.

In race 2 Alberto managed once again to have a good start, but due to his physical condition not at 100% he could not push as he would have liked, despite Forato fought until the last lap managing to make several overtakes and under the checkered flag he finished in 11th position.

For Team Husqvarna Junior Racing Maddii only one day of rest and then back on track on Tuesday 11th August for the second race always on the Kegums track.

Marco Maddii: “Positive day, Alberto was not in 100% form, since qualifying he suffered a lot of fatigue that he certainly accumulated during the week, but he managed to take home an excellent tenth place in the general classification. This result bodes well and if he manages to recover form and drives as he is capable he can do well. "
